Start your November with a bang! Here’s our guide to bonfires and fireworks in York and beyond…
Sadly the North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Community Firework Display at Rawcliffe Park, an annual favourite, has been cancelled due to poor ground conditions at the venue.
Selby Town Council has also had to cancel its bonfire and fireworks display due to flooding from a dam breach caused by continued rainfall.
But never fear! There is still an abundance of firework fun and brilliant bonfires on and around Guy Fawkes Night. Treat yourself to pies and peas, soup, burgers and hot dogs and get ready to ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ as you watch the bonfires and fireworks light up the night sky.
