A fire crew came to the rescue after a bird became trapped under some solar panels in York.
The bird was spotted struggling under the panels on the roof of a property on Crichton Avenue.
The RSPCA were called and they in turn got in touch with the fire service.
A crew from Acomb were dispatched to the scene at 5.28pm yesterday (Monday).
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The crew used a 9m ladder to remove netting, allowing the bird to rescue itself from under the panels.”
