York fire crews called to rescue cat trapped in a car. Cat not bothered

York firefighters were called to a cat in distress today (Friday). But it seems the cat hadn’t got the memo.

Concerned residents contacted the fire services after believing the feline to be in peril in Hansom Place.

A crew from York were told  a cat was trapped inside a car bonnet.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crews inspected and found the cat not to be in distress or trapped – and the incident was left with nearby residents.”
