Making a correction
We strive for accuracy in our news reports and we welcome your feedback and corrections. Please email us on [email protected] with a summary of your concerns and we will strive to get back to you within two working days.
If we accept we have made a mistake we will endeavour to correct it as soon as possible.
You can also call us within office hours on 01904 848766. We may still ask you to submit your concerns in writing.

YorkMix adheres to the Independent Press Standards Organisation Editors’ Code of Practice.
This is a nationally accepted code which numerous national and regional media follow.

If you feel we have breached this code, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Bear in mind that we can only deal with your complaint if you are:
- personally and directly affected by an alleged breach of the Code
- a representative group affected by an alleged breach of the Code, where there is public interest in your complaint
- a third party seeking to ensure accuracy of published information.

We will acknowledge your complaint by email or in writing within seven calendar days and will normally respond to your complaint with a final decision letter within 21 calendar days.
