A heads-up for anyone heading to the York Dungeon for a post-Christmas treat – it is shut again today (Wednesday, 3 January).
The attraction, on the corner of Clifford Street and Cumberland Street, has water coming into the building again.
It was closed for a couple of days at the end of last month because of the same problem, before reopening on New Year’s Day.
Water has entered the lower levels of the building due to the height of the river.
A spokesperson said: “Our guest experience team will contact all peasants with tickets. We are also offering walking tours of the city with Jester and Smedley for all pre-booked guests.
“We will provide further updates in due course.”
