Join drag artist Kyran Thrax for a drag show like no other.
Follow Kyran Thrax on a journey as she tries to figure out exactly why she became a drag artist – and the answer might not be what anybody expected.
Every Last Detail is at The Basement in City Screen York on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 June at 8pm.
Expect dancing, comedy, lip syncs, clowning, singing – and lots of sweat.
Alongside the wackiness, the show is in essence Kyran’s biographical story – about growing up queer, northern and working-class, and overcoming being a victim of child sexual abuse.
The show is produced by Salted Wound Theatre Company, and directed by Sophie Walmsley who is from York.
Sophie grew up in the city doing productions such as York Theatre Royal’s community plays and musicals with local groups like Pick Me Up Theatre and York Stage Musicals.

She went to All Saints Roman Catholic School in York before moving to London to attend East 15 Acting School in 2017.
“I am so excited to come back to my hometown with this show I have created,” said Sophie.
Tickets are £15 or £12.50 Concession and are available here.
The event is 18+ and contains strong language, nudity and discussion of child sexual abuse.
