York brand agency The Beautiful Meme has won an international award for its work on a history project in Scotland.
The company received the Special Jury Award for Best Branding Campaign in the International Design Communication Awards held in Stockholm, Sweden.
Creative Directors Tom Sharp and Ben Haworth received the award in front of an audience of cultural institutions and agencies for their Battle of Bannockburn identity created for the National Trust for Scotland.
Meeting in Paris, the jury included senior figures from Louis Vuitton, Ikea, V&A and the Musee Picasso.
The Beautiful Meme were the only UK agency shortlisted at the awards which drew entries from 86 countries. Other winners included creative work for the Australian Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Heritage Board of Singapore and Minneapolis Institutes of Arts.
The Battle of Bannockburn last month also won Best Identity at the prestigious UK Design Week Awards.
