A new sponsor has been unveiled for a stand at the LNER Community Stadium.
York City has revealed that the South Stand will now be known as the Nfinnerty Stand, named after family-run Nfinnerty Electrical, a firm based in Upper Poppleton, York.
The sponsorship artwork includes a tribute to David Longhurst. David, who died on the pitch during a match for York City against Lincoln City in 1990, had a stand at the former stadium Bootham Crescent named after him.

It also features a ‘We are York’ section.
Neil Finnerty of Nfinnerty Electrical said: “Nfinnerty are proud to be able to sponsor York City FC. The history and values of the city are very much values we share. We Are York!”
City’s commercial manager Liam McGuinness said: “We are delighted to have Neil on board with us, not only as a club sponsor but as a supporter of the club.
“The red and blue banners at the back of the stand will give the stadium a bit more life and more importantly the tribute to the late David Longhurst is bound to resonate with our fans.”
Supporters will be able to see the new branding for this first time today (Tuesday) with the club playing Alfreton Town in National League North.
