York City Football Club can confirm that defender Josh King and forward Luke Jones have joined Tadcaster Albion and Pickering Town respectively on loan.
Both players will spend one month on loan with the Northern Premier League East Division sides.
King has made three starts this season against Hebburn Town, Darlington and Hereford and featured heavily throughout pre-season.
Jones was offered his first professional contract this summer after graduating from the academy.
Manager John Askey spoke on the loan deals: “They are young players and need to go and play men’s football and show they can do it at that level.
“If they do then it gives them a better chance of coming back to us and forcing their way into the first team.”
Both moves are subject to FA and National League approval.
