York City are to create a new badge to celebrate 100 years of the club.
It will be used for centenary season (2022/23) – and they want to do this with your help.
The new crest, created in partnership with football brand designer Christopher Payne, will be worn on the players’ shirts for that season.
A commemorative kit to be released, and other celebrations will be scheduled over the course of the season.

The club is now inviting fans to help guide the design of the centenary crest.
Media officer Dan Simmonite told YorkMix that it was a very special moment in the club’s history and everything needed to be ‘spot on’.
He said they wanted to involve the fans in making a badge which everyone will be proud of.
