You’re guaranteed a warm welcome at one York cinema – as it is offering blankets to filmgoers.
City Screen Picturehouse off Coney Street is open for festive entertainment as usual today (Christmas Eve).
But it has posted this warning to customers: “We are currently experiencing an issue with our heating, and screens are colder than usual as we wait for repairs.
“We have a number of blankets available for patrons to use.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to have this fixed as soon as possible.”
It has a packed programme of films, including Wonka, Die Hard and Godzilla Minus One.
