Limber up your tastebuds people – there’s a brand-new Aero bar in town.
The new flavour has been created in York and people can’t wait to try it!
Nestlé Confectionery today (Tuesday) unveiled the Aero choco-hazelnut bar, “bringing together Aero’s signature melt-in-your-mouth bubbles and the smooth, nutty flavour of hazelnut, to create a deliciously bubbly symphony”.
Launching this week, the popular hazelnut flavour was frequently requested by followers of Aero’s social media channels, and it will now hit the shelves in supermarkets nationwide.
The new Aero choco-hazelnut flavour bar was developed at Nestle’s global Product Innovation Centre in York and is manufactured in the York factory.
“We can’t wait to share the heavenly combination of Aero and hazelnut,” said assistant brand manager for Aero Michael Kehoe.
“Aero’s iconic light and airy chocolate bubbles have been loved worldwide for decades, and this new hazelnut flavour takes it to a whole new level.
“We hope our Aero fans will enjoy the indulgent taste experience of the rich hazelnut flavour whilst feeling the bubbles melt.”
News of the new bar has leaked out on social media with people commenting “This looks amazing” and “OMG I need”.
Nestlé has also introduced something new for Aero Peppermint fans, a larger 145g bar which is designed for sharing with friends and family, now available at shops nationwide.
“These larger sharing bars are designed to be enjoyed together, whether it’s spending quality time with your family or catching up with friends,” Nestle says.
Aero is in Britain’s top 15 chocolate brands by sales.
The company says: “Since its initial launch in 1935, Aero has been continuously innovating to provide new ways to enjoy its bubbly joy.
“From Aero Bubbles to Aero Melts, Nestlé Confectionery has been dedicated to spreading bubbly bliss to chocolate lovers everywhere.”
