A business in York city centre has closed after council officials reclaimed the lease.
The King Koby barber shop on Swinegate is now empty.
The barber chairs and all the fittings are still inside.

A notice on the window says officials acting on behalf of the landlord, City of York Council, entered the building last Thursday (31 August).
It says they acted in accordance with a lease of the premises dated 22 December 2022 made between the council, King Koby York Franchise Ltd and Matthew Murray.
The notice says: “The landlord has today re-entered the Premises in accordance with the provisions of clause 28.1.1 of the lease and has changed the locks to the premises.
“From today’s date the Lease has been forfeited and has come to an end.”
King Koby has operated on Swinegate for more than five years.
