A York brewery is looking to expand its HQ.
Pivovar has plans in to make changes at its base on Station Yard, off York Road, Elvington.
A two-storey extension would house a German beer hall and Alpine ski chalet-style taproom where production would be showcased.
The Alpine ski chalet-style taproom would open daily from 11am to 11pm. A new bottling line would be created for the brewhouse.
The expansion would create 11 new jobs taking the workforce to 26.

Pivovar’s managing director Paul Hawksworth told the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) the plans sought to meet growing demand and take their beers beyond the North.
The company, which launched in 2003 as a beer importer, now brews Mittel lager and its pubs and bars include York’s Pivní, Pavement Vaults and The Market Cat.
But managing director Mr Hawksworth said its existing production facilities could not longer meet demand, with an expansion needed to keep up.
He said the company hoped to open the new taproom at the end of September, subject to York Council’s decision on the plans.
Mr Hawksworth said: “We’ve grown and grown over the years and now we’re supplying 250 pubs, bars and restaurants around the North, from Whitley Bay to North Derbyshire.
“We stock 120 different cask ales and custom beers, but importing beer has become more challenging and it’s not as environmentally-friendly to bring what is essentially barrels of 95 per cent water over from Germany and elsewhere.
“So we’ve been developing our own lagers and we think we’ve cracked it with our flagship beer Mittel, but demand’s gone crazy.
“We’ve extended our existing brewery three times and we keep expanding, our fermenters are now outside because we don’t have any more space inside.
“So the time has come to expand in a big way, and this extension will allow us to quadruple our output.
“We’re currently open to the community by way of a small taproom, but now we need a proper tap room.
“It’ll be on two storeys and there will be a bar serving some of the best beers we supply along with a proper kitchen serving food.
“The bar will be like a cross between a German beer hall and a ski chalet, giving it a cosy feel.
“At the back of the bar we’ll have huge windows showcasing our bottling line.
“The plan is to get Mittel into bottles and out beyond the North, we’ve invested in the Rolls Royce of brewing equipment because we know you can’t mask imperfections with lager.
“We’re working flat out to make all of this happen because demand is outstripping supply.”
