A man was left with a gash to his head after being attacked in a York bar.
The assault happened in Vodka Revolution off Coney Street at about 1am on Sunday (October 2).
Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack. Detectives said the bar would have been busy at this time and urged people who saw anything to get in touch.

A 29-year-old York woman has been arrested in connection with this incident, on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
