The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for fog affecting York and parts of North Yorkshire today (Tuesday).
The warning affects Pickering, Malton, Easingwold, Ripon, Helmsley, Thirsk, Tadcaster and Pocklington as well as all of York.
The warning lasts until 11am.
The Met Office says slower journey times with delays to bus and train services are possible.
There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights.
