Woman taken to hospital with neck and back injuries after car and lorry crash in York
A woman was taken to hospital after a car and lorry crashed in York today (Tuesday).
It happened on Stamford Bridge Road.
Emergency services were called to a collision between a car and a light goods vehicle (LGV) at 11.09am.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “A female casualty from the car was assisted from the vehicle by ambulance and fire crews to be taken to hospital suffering possible neck and back injuries.
“A male casualty from the LGV was assessed by paramedics but was not transported to hospital.
“Crews made both vehicles safe and carried out scene safety before handing the incident over to the police.”
