Woman stuck between wall and garden fence rescued by firefighters

Firefighters came to the rescue of a woman who became trapped in a garden early this morning (Sunday).

They were called to Bondgate, Helmsley at 1.11am.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A crew from Kirbymoorside were called to a female trapped between a retaining wall and garden fence.

“Crews used crew power and left female in care of family members.”
