Police are hunting a teenage boy who sexually assaulted a woman on a York bus.
The incident happened on a number 1 First York bus on Wednesday, 27 July at about 6.45pm.
A woman passenger was groped by a boy aged 15 to 16 years old.
The boy was white, about 5ft 3ins tall, with short dark hair. He wore a black coat and dark jeans.
He is thought to have been with a second boy of about the same age who was described as ginger and pale.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A police investigation was launched when the incident was reported and a number of lines of enquiry are currently under way.
“Officers are trying to trace passengers who were on the bus around the same time, as they may have witnessed the incident or have information that could help the investigation.”
