This was the result of a fire at a home in Harrogate last night (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Harrogate and Knaresborough were called to the incident on Woodlands Avenue at 8.43pm.
A fire had broken out in the fusebox which then spread to the kitchen.
Station Manager Tony Walker said on X: “Crews from Harrogate and Knaresborough have dealt with a severe fire in a domestic property in the town. No injuries.
“Cause is under investigation. Owner was alerted by her dog and smoke alarm. Dogs and smoke alarms save lives, every home should have one.”
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Crew used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
“They ventilated the property and two neighbouring properties using a positive pressure ventilation fan.”
