Woman robbed in York car park
Police are investigating after a woman was robbed in a York car park.
She was standing beside her car boot in Strensall Common car park, off Lords Moor Lane, when she felt a push to her back.
Her dark-coloured rucksack was stolen during the incident, which happened on Sunday, 18 April.
The suspect is believed to be a man who was around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build and wearing a dark hooded top. He left in a small silver vehicle.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles in the area at that time.”
