A woman was robbed after an altercation by the river in York.
It happened at North Street Gardens between 9.20pm and 10.40pm yesterday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A report was made to the police that around 9.30pm a local woman had several of her possessions taken from her during a physical altercation with a group of individuals.

“No suspects have currently been identified and no arrests have been made so far.
“Please contact us if you were in the area and could provide us with information which could aid our enquiries into this investigation.”
