Woman rescued from three vehicle crash on rural road

Emergency services were called to a crash involving three vehicles on a North Yorkshire road last night (Sunday).

It happened at about 6.13pm on Ripley Road, Scotton, near Knaresborough.

Firefighters from Knaresborough and Harrogate went to the collision, where one woman was trapped.

They got her out and into the hands of paramedics at the scene.
