A woman has been injured during a fight between two dogs.
It happened at around 4pm and 4.15pm last Saturday (18 January).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A woman was walking her dogs down Lord Mayor’s Walk, on the path opposite the university, when there was a fight between her dog and another off-lead dog.
“As a result of this incident the woman suffered a fractured thumb.
“We’re particularly appealing for information about the owner of the other dog involved in the incident.”
