Woman hurt by car which mounted the kerb in York
Police are investigating an incident where a woman was struck by a car after it mounted the kerb in York.
It happened on Garden Street approaching Cole Street in the Groves at about 8.45am on Tuesday (7 March).
A woman pedestrian was hit on the arm by a vehicle’s wing mirror after it mounted the kerb.
Where it happened
The vehicle involved was a black Ford Tourneo Connect.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The woman sustained a bruise to her right forearm.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for witnesses to this incident.”
