A woman was attacked in Selby town centre on Friday night (29 November).
It happened at about 3am in the Market Place outside Boots.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A female victim was assaulted by unknown suspects. She was left with cuts and bruises.
“The victim has not been able to identify those responsible, but remembers two females prior to the incident.”
Police are asking any witnesses, or anyone with information, to get in touch.
