Woman assaulted on York street – Police release CCTV

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to talk to after a woman was assaulted in York.

The woman, 48, was assaulted near the junction between Holgate Road and Mount Parade at around 7.15pm on Sunday 31 May.

Police believe the man in the pictures may have information which could help the investigation.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Members of the public are asked to get in touch if they can identify the man or if they were in the area around the time the assault occurred to help establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
