A woman was assaulted on a York cycle path – and police are appealing for witnesses and information.
The incident took place at 6.50pm on Monday, 28 December.
It happened on the cycle path in the Clifton area, near to Huntington Road bridge. The woman cyclist was assaulted and pushed off her bicycle.
A North Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, we are appealing for information from the cyclist who was assaulted.”
