A woman was assaulted in a York shopping centre car park on a Saturday lunchtime.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at 12.05pm on Saturday (December 1) at the Vangarde Shopping Centre at Monks Cross.
It involved the victim being verbally and physically assaulted by another woman, who was a passenger from a black BMW.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
