Hello there – I’m Adrian and I’m the reference librarian at York Libraries basically this means that I look after our online resources, and answer enquiries which is the most varied and fun part of my job – recent tasks have included locating a retailer for vibrating slippers and helping a student research the Apollo 11 mission.
I’ll publish my blog every month and it will highlight stories, events and activities happening all over York’s 16 libraries. My colleagues will be taking the reins now and then for “day in the life of” type features.
So if you like reading, learning, or just passing your lunch hour browsing the web, keep up to date here.
Don’t miss our giant book sale from Friday 22 March – Monday 25 March at York Explore Library Learning Centre we hope to see you there.
