Capt Dan – real name Dan Kneale, 44 – can be booked to do his great Capt Jack Sparrow impersonation at parties and other social events.

Dan lives in Riccall, so he couldn’t resist coming along to try and catch a glimpse of Johnny Depp before the Barbican gig he’s doing with Jeff Beck.

“I’ve seen him from afar, but never up close,” Dan said of Johnny. “So it would be good to see him, and thank him for what he does – especially the hospital visits.”
