This video shows the moment a vandal smashed the window of a York café.
It happened in the early hours of Saturday (5 October) – and police think other businesses might also have been damaged.
The CCTV footage shows the attack on the Double Dutch Pancake House on Church Street.

It was shared by Double Dutch Pancake House on their Instagram feed. They said: “Somebody wasn’t happy and took it out on our window.”
It left the window dented and cracked.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for information and for other potential victims of criminal damage incidents in York.
“We’re investigating damage caused to the window of a food outlet in Church Street in the early hours of Saturday 5 October.
“Witnesses and any other businesses in the area that may also have suffered similar damage, but have not contacted the police are asked to get in touch.”
