A film premiere was held in York today (Tuesday).
The great and the good of the city gathered at the Park Inn on North Street for the first public showing of It’s All York.
This three-minute film showcases the city’s exciting future, and is the newest way to promote York to the UK and wider world.
Commissioned by the York BID (Business Improvement District), the video was produced by Hewitt & Walker, the filmmakers base at the York Eco Business Centre.
It outlines the exciting developments and future plans for the city, featuring six projects, including York Central, the regeneration of the riverside and Coney Street and the new station approach.
The film will be help support efforts to attract new investment to the city.
It is available for any organisation to use to promote York as a destination for business or leisure. A stakeholder pack has been created by the BID to encourage organisations to share the film among their networks – download it here.
