Another Hollywood star has been spotted filming in North Yorkshire.
Kiefer Sutherland, whose films include Flatliners, A Few Good Men and The Vanishing, has been in Knaresborough this week.
Probably best known for playing the lead role of Jack Bauer in TV thriller 24, Kiefer – the son of Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas – has enjoyed a long screen career as well as performing as a musician.
He’s in Knaresborough to shoot scenes for a Christmas-themed film.
No details have been revealed yet. One scene involved people dresses as Father Christmas running through the town.
Di Watson, from Knaresborough wool shop Knitting Pretty, told YorkMix: “I didn’t actually meet him but it’s great for our lovely town.

“Knaresborough is a beautiful, friendly destination, it’s the second time we’ve had a Christmas film made in Knaresborough and we’re delighted about it.”
The previous movie was A Very British Christmas from 2019.
Film stars have a habit of turning up unexpectedly in North Yorkshire.
It was April 2021 when Tom Cruise was seen filming scenes for his last Mission Impossible movie on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway at Levisham, near Pickering.
