A man went on the run after violence at a York home left a victim seriously injured.
Daniel Huggins, aged 35, has now been arrested after police put out an appeal to find him.
He’s suspected of being involved in a violent incident at a flat on Middleton Road, Acomb, at around 6.10pm yesterday (Sunday).
The victim, a local man aged in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Residents on Middleton Road said armed officers were among a large police presence on the street last night, which was taped off for some time.
One resident posted on social media: “Three arrested, armed police went in, one came out with bandages round head, stab wounds to face, all swollen.
“Police knocking on doors for cctv footage and info.”
Three men, aged 56, 49 and 27, were arrested shortly after the incident.

A 40-year-old man was arrested earlier today (Monday) in connection with the investigation. They are being held in custody for questioning.
Detectives believed Huggins was a suspect in the incident and issued an urgent appeal to find him on Monday afternoon.
At 5.14pm they said he had also been arrested.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Reassurance patrols have been stepped up in the Acomb area while the investigation continues.
“It is believed to have been an isolated incident with no known threat to the wider community.”
