A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Unfortunately for him, he left behind his jacket, baseball cap, phone, key, vape liquid and cannabis.”
A packet of lamb chops and another of beef meatballs, both from the Co-op, were also recovered.
“If you recognise these items and can help us identify the owner, please contact us,” the spokesperson said.
“Of course, if the owner would like to collect his property in person – before we find him – he is very welcome to contact us too.”
