Volunteers wanted to train as snow wardens
City of York Council is looking for residents who are able to give up some of their time to clear snow when the bad weather hits.
Volunteers will be provided with training, high visibility gear, snow clearing kit and grit so that they are able to make a real difference in their neighbourhoods by clearing pavements and footpaths.
For more information or if you’d like to volunteer, please contact Michal Czekajlo on 01904 551841 or email [email protected].
The training sessions take place at the Eco Depot, Hazel Court, James Street at the following times:
Monday, November 17, 6pm – 7.30pm
Wednesday, November 19, 6pm – 7.30pm.
