Police are hunting two men who launched a violent attack in the beer garden of a York pub.
It happened at around 12.30am on Saturday (1 April) at the Mitre Pub on Shipton Road.
Two men were assaulted.
Where it happened
One of the victims was knocked unconscious and the other suffered the loss of a front tooth.
The suspects were both white men, and both had brown hair.
One was wearing a distinctive chunky gold necklace. The other man is described as having a stubbly beard.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
“In particular, officers are appealing for information about the two suspects.
“Police are also keen to identify several women who witnessed the assault who helped the victims flee the scene.”
