The awesome locomotives at the National Railway Museum can do many things – but not leap into the air or jump up a scaffolding rig.
So visitors to the NRM in York saw something new when the Savage Skills stunt mountain bike riders undertook a spectacular display at the weekend (March 22 and 23).
The show, in the shadow of star loco Mallard, included spectacular leaps and incredible dexterity. It was part of the museum’s Science Through Stunts event to mark National Science And Engineering Week.
