Residents on the Staynor Hall Estate in Selby are being asked to keep reporting incidents of anti-social behaviour which in some cases are making lives a misery.
The Neighbourhood Policing Inspector, Martin Wedgwood has issued a video message after locals complained of having to put up with trouble during the hours of 6pm to around 8pm.
Inspector Wedgwood said: “We believe it concerns young teenagers who are predominantly knocking on doors, kicking on doors and running away.
“We recognise this as an impact on the community, particularly the vulnerable people and we want to respond as well as we can to that.
