Cubs, Brownies, Rainbows, Beavers, Scouts and Guides joined a huge parade through the centre of York.
Altogether around 2,000 young people took part in the annual St George’s Day parade on Sunday (April 23).
Led by the Yorkshire Volunteers Band, they left the Eye of York and headed along Tower Street, Clifford Street, Nessgate, Spurriergate, Coney Street, St Helen’s Square, Blake Street and Duncombe Place.
There they took part in a service in York Minster.

To film this is fantastic, especially to show family and friends who couldn’t be there. However the amount of people walking in front of the camera spoils it.
