Firefighters were called to a fire in a garden in York very early today (Tuesday).
Following a number of calls to fire control, crews from Acomb and York went to the property in Chapelfields at 12.03am.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said they were “confronted with a large quantity of household items on fire in the garden.
“No building was affected, and crews provided advice to home occupants.
“The cause is unknown, and the fire was seen on a neighbour’s Ring doorbell seeming to suddenly start.”
Firefighters used two hosepipe jets to put out the fire.
