Video has emerged of a car on fire close to homes in a York suburb.
The footage shows the vehicle consumed by flames just inches from a house in Fourth Avenue, Tang Hall.
The incident saw flames and huge plumes of black smoke engulf the area.
It happened behind the back of the shops in Fourth Avenue this morning (Wednesday).
Firefighters put out the flames. They stopped the fire spreading to the building.
But the car was completely gutted in the fire.
