A bus collided with three other vehicles in York last night (Sunday).
The incident happened on Front Street, Acomb, at about 10.10pm. It was outside the Acomb Explore library.
A spokesperson for First York said: “A bus was involved in a collision on Front Street last night. Our driver is being treated in hospital and we wish him a full and speedy recovery.

“We are assisting a police investigation into the cause of the incident and will provide any support we can including CCTV footage from cameras on board.”
YorkMix reader Marsha was alerted to the collision by a “loud crunch”.
She said the First York bus hit a Northern Gas Networks truck, a Land Rover Discovery and a Mini.
She said: “The recovery services are removing the vehicles – I live right where the crash happened and was on the scene shortly after to see if everyone was OK.”
