Police are appealing for witnesses after a robbery on a busy York street yesterday (Wednesday).
It happened on Bootham at 11.50am.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “During the incident the victim’s wallet was stolen; the victim fell to the ground and suffered minor injuries.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
The suspect is described as
- a white male
- aged in his thirties
- with a pale and gaunt complexion
- wearing a camouflage jacket
- and a dark beanie hat.
He left the area on a bicycle.
