Emergency services were called to a crash off the A64 in York this lunchtime (Monday).
A vehicle had left the westbound carriageway of the road between Grimston Lodge and Fulford and ended in ditch.
York firefighters were called to the incident at 1.27pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “”All occupants were out of the vehicle on the arrival of fire crews and in the care of police officers awaiting the arrival of ambulance crews.
“Fire crews made the vehicle safe and disconnected the battery. The incident was left in the hands of the police.”
