A van crashed into an ambulance in York today (Monday).
It happened at around 11.35am on Queen Street, opposite the Fleetways Taxis HQ.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust told YorkMix: “A van was in collision with a stationary ambulance on Queen Street, York this morning.
Where it happened
“No one was injured, but a patient on board needed to be transferred to a second ambulance.”
The ambulance and an ambulance responder vehicle remained at the scene for some time.
Traffic was able to overtake the stationary ambulance and the road remained open throughout.
