Police are investigating a crash caused by a dangerous overtake on a North Yorkshire road.
It happened on the A170 Sinnington Cliff Road at around 5.50pm yesterday (Friday).
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “A van travelling west was forced to take evasive action when a small hatchback came towards them on the wrong side of the road – performing a dangerous overtake on the corner travelling east.

“The van left the road and collided with a chevron board. Thankfully there were no injuries.”
