Updated: Two girls missing from York found safe and well

Two girls missing from York have been found safe and well, police said this afternoon (Monday).

They issued an appeal to find the girls, aged 14 and 15, from York but last seen in Hull, early this morning.

At 1.58pm, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Early today we issued an appeal to find two teenage girls aged 14 and 15 from York who had gone missing.

“We are very please to report that they have been found safe and well. 

“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal and called in with information.”
