A woman who has been missing since last week has been found safe and well.
An appeal was issued on Saturday to help find the 25-year-old woman, who was last seen at 8.45am on Tuesday 19 September on Fishergate.
Police said concerns were growing for her safety as there had been no confirmed sightings, phone or online contacts from her since then.
Today, North Yorkshire Police issued this update: “Over the weekend of 23 September, we issued an appeal to find a missing 25-year-old woman from York.
“We are pleased to report that she has since been found safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
